Assignment Due in 2.5 hours!

Ahhh! Assignment #3 for CSC 104 is due in 2.5 hours. I still need to edit it and format it into proper HTML format. This is MADNESS!

For my topic, I got teh CD-I, which is a 4th generation gaming console. For my interest topic, I decided to stay along the lines of video games and discuss about Nintendo's mascot, Mario.

Well, time to head back and finish up my assignment for to submit. Then I can finally sleep.

PS. talk to the teacher regarding my last mark and how I was unable to submit my blog due to the submit page not working.

JAVA, GRRRR

Tomorrow my Java assignment is due. I am required to write a program where a car "transforms" into Optimus (sp) Prime, the leader of the Autobots in saving the planet.

Last week, I spent an entire two days, working day and night trying to figure out how to draw the diagram. Thanks to tutorial last week, I was able to FINALLY animate the object.

I studied for my dinos test and yesterday I started working on my assignment again. I am FINALLY DONE! I was able to transform it into a car, semi transform it back, then transform it into a car again and drive off the screen.

Java is by far a lot tougher than HTML. Time to work on my other midterms =(

Sarah and I are DONE our computer science project!

Writing everything on notepad took FOREVER THOUGH! Listing over 10 times is sooo repetitive. I had the same problem with making a table. Thank goodness for copy and pasting during those sections. If it weren't for that, i would have taken hours to make one single chart.

I realized that the best background colour is actually white. Anything too colourful or fancy is just overkill.

Right now, I am going to use my roommates computer to make sure publisher works! After that, I will submit this and we will be DONEEEE!

BTW: google maps = awesome!

CSC- assignment #1

Upon reading the rules for my assignment, I discovered two major errors on my part. Firstly, I completely forgot that I had to make a blog until my partner, Sarah, kindly reminded me. =)

Secondly, I thought the assignment was due TOMORROW at 10am! I was starting to stress out. Then I realized that my assignment is in fact due on October 8th! I thought Monday was October 8th. Silly me.

Thank goodness for the extra couple of days. Now I have time to study for my dinosaurs test just in case the program I write has a couple of errors in it.

But anyway, back to the blog. I met my partner on Sept 14th in tutorial where we decided to do our project on the comparisons between Windows Live Messenger and E Buddy.

The following week, we met up again in tutorial and learned the basics of HTML and how to form the outline of a webpage. There, we learned features such as changing the background colour and inserting pictures and links.

Since we both used Windows Live Messenger and E Buddy on a daily basis, we knew the basics of the programs we were researching. The biggest concerned we had is determine which program to use in addition to microsoft word and notepad. Upon asking my roommate what he used when he took the course two years ago, he mentioned that he used publisher. But he reformatted his computer recently. Thanks to pure luck, he still had publisher and we are going to use it to help make the cover page for our assignment.

Now to continue my write-up for the Windows Live Messenger portion of the assignment and then study dinosaurs. BYEEE
